Hike #50: [Partway to] Lodge Lake

Going to have to re-do this one in the future. The gravel road indicated in the directions wasn’t plowed, so we parked just off the road and walked about 10 minutes to the trailhead, after which we started on the trail itself.We made it about 3/4 of the way across the ski slopes before turning around.

The day was mild, just a few flurries and in the high thirties, but a layer of ice over the 6-12″ of snow made for rough going.

Still, lovely snowy views and some quality time spent together. We stopped at Spicy Talk in Redmond for lunch on the way home, and agreed to make it to the lake another time.
