Heybrook Lookout: January

Cheers to 2016! Our first hike was also my first of twelve to Heybrook Lookout. Clare, Anna, and I spent the first afternoon of the new year on this glorious trail.It was snowy and slippery – traction devices recommended – but we made it to the top. It was a spectacularly clear and sunny day.

I also managed to climb all the way to the top, despite a minor anxiety attack on the way back down (decent amount of ice on the stairs).

Oh, these spectacular mountains.
