We did this hike a few weeks ago. It was brilliant, stunning at the top and pretty moderate getting there.

Lush green in the understory. Lots of water on the trail, but nothing careful footwork and good boots couldn’t manage.

Cold and snowy at the top. We managed to find part of the boardwalk and meander along it. I had my spikes on for this part, and they helped, but Eric seemed just fine in his boots.
