Paris is always a good idea, especially when you find a roundtrip flight under $400. Today is packing day & I am already excited!

This is magical. Happy snowpocalypse! . . . I used to be so dismissive of snow in Seattle and how the whole city shuts down. "I'm from New York, this is an average Tuesday!" etc. But after living here for six years (during which it has snowed maybe four times?), I've started to embrace it, and I've learned a few things: 1) If someone is going to offer me a snow day for just a few inches, I will take it! 2) When there's no infrastructure for plows or salt/sand, roads are not really driveable in snow. 3) Seattle hills in snow are serious business. NY is flaaaat in comparison so I've never driven in snow like this. All to say, I hope everyone is staying cozy & safe in Seattle today. And I can't wait to play in the snow!
